About LIOS:

Founded in 1969, LIOS Graduate College (formerly the Leadership Institute of Seattle) is a center for progressive leadership education that is unsurpassed in the Pacific Northwest.

LIOS stands for transformative education; human communication and collaboration informed and energized by integrity; and professional and personal excellence.

LIOS considers authentic leadership an ongoing, evolving process, rather than a once and future ability certified by title or resume, charisma or institutionalized power. LIOS' mission is to train leaders who are agents of positive, productive change rather than one-agenda-fits-all managers. Our transformative leadership skills energize careers and character not for the duration of a workshop or a degree program, but for life.
