The US – Balkans Business Summit is the first trade and investment summit between the United States and the Western Balkans ever to be held in America. The focus of the summit will be to promote bilateral trade and investment opportunities among the United States and this region and to assist in the mainstreaming of all the Western Balkan countries into Europe.
Through various panel discussions and workshops, the summit will assist in developing a dialogue to further increase trade and investment between the Western Balkans and the United States. The summit is open to senior public officials and private business leaders interested in doing business in Western Balkans, and will focus on a cross-section of industries with growing potential in the Western Balkans, including, but not limited to, energy, defense and aerospace, information technology, manufacturing, tourism, and transportation.
Why choose the Balkans: The Western Balkans – Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Serbia – has reached a turning point in its overall business and economic development. The opening of the Western Balkans countries in the past decade has fundamentally altered the political and economic landscape of Europe, and the region has been transformed into a marketplace with dynamic growth, attracting a significant amount of foreign direct investment.
Why should you attend: To meet high-level decision makers; to develop business opportunities; to expand your network; to get updated on the latest Western Balkan issues; to attract public and private funding; and to receive media coverage.
