The purpose of this workshop is to engage participants in learning best practices and strategies for the Fiscal and Program aspects of weatherization contract management. It’s the intent of the workshop to foster an understanding of the importance of coordination between Agency Fiscal and Program management by building an understanding of the unique needs of each function in the management of contracts. Additionally, through collaboration, we want show how an agency can achieve efficiency in administrative functions, while reducing system redundancy in contract information tracking and achieve these goals in compliance with rules and regulations. We’ll cover requirements specific to weatherization contracts and the rules and regulations governing weatherization contracts. We’ll explore ways to achieve those requirements and hear examples of systems other agencies have devised to achieve the requirements (databases, accounting systems etc). Finally, we’ll cover the monitoring process and best ways to prepare for monitoring. We encourage Agency Fiscal, Program Fiscal and Program Managers to attend.
