Do you feel stressed, overworked, and running on empty? There’s no doubt about it - these days we are just too busy. Even with the conveniences of technology, we are still compelled to get more done in less time. This workshop is for those who feel perpetually overwhelmed and overworked. Come learn how to strip meaningless activities that occupy your time. Objective: Our goal is to assist you in de-stressing and to nourish your mind, body, and spirit which will yield big rewards for the library.

Public Speaking with PIzzazz

Is the fear of public speaking in the way of your success?  Are you afraid to stand up and speak your mind?  Do you want to be able to communicate more effectively at work?  Are you interested in improving your speaking skills during meetings, presentations, or by motivating people? And, are you searching for a positive, friendly atmosphere that will build your confidence and boost your self-esteem? Objective: You’ll build a better “speaking” you by developing your public speaking abilities and presentation skills.  Emphasis will be placed on the fundamentals of developing quality speeches. Participants will also deliver impromptu speeches in an experienced and poised manner and receive friendly evaluations and feedback to be used for their personal growth and development.

NEFLIN classes are free of charge to Florida Library Staff. Registration is required for all classes, and NEFLIN members get priority.
Cancellation deadline for this workshop is 9:00 am Monday, March 12.

NEFLIN Workshops and Webinars: Cancellations must be made no later than 9:00 am two business days prior to the workshop to avoid a no-show penalty. (Example: For a workshop held on Friday cancellations must be received by 9:00 am on the preceding Wednesday.) NEFLIN Annual Meeting Cancellation Deadline: If you find that you will be unable to attend the NEFLIN Annual Meeting, you must notify NEFLIN by 9:00 am on Friday, August 30. No refunds after August 30. If your registration is unpaid you will be invoiced for $35. You may send a substitute in your place.

Credit card charges will appear as "Acteva Event Payment" on your credit card statement.
