The conference will be a one-day event, held on Wednesday, October 26th, 2011 at the Dena'ina Center in Anchorage, Alaska, from 8am to 6pm. The conference will feature 7 sessions of panelists and expert speakers. The conference is sponsored by Alaska Energy Authority and is hosted by Alaska Center for Energy and Power.
The purpose of the 2011 Alaska Hydrokinetics Technical Conference is to document and present the activities, progress and results of hydrokinetic energy projects and research relevant to Alaska to interested stakeholders in order to progress the development of a hydrokinetics industry in Alaska.
