In this 4-week series, you'll find movement options you forgot or never discovered before. The result: greater ease of movement, efficiency, and grace.
Each class will include a series of movement sequences organized around a particular function. The lessons consist of comfortable, easy movements that gradually evolve into greater range and complexity.
Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) is the group version of Feldenkrais. Developed by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, this is a modality of somatic education based on sound principles of physics, neuroscience and physiology, and the conditions under which the nervous system learns best.
Angela Alston, GCFP, MFA, offers Feldenkrais classes and workshops at MoveStudio, Dallas Shambhala Meditation Center, and Our Space. She also works with private clients. Angela is an award-winning maker of dance films.
